Heck, Ailes built MSNBC, nobody knew better where its strengths and weaknesses were. As for CNN, they never realized that people watched them because they were the only game in town and that people would bolt when given a superior alternative.

In building Fox, Ailes has been wise to exploit the other channels' profound weaknesses, the greatest of which is their raging Liberal bias. Most Americans had never experienced balanced reporting before FoxNews.
