I don't own any shares of ORCL but... by: yogibear10000 (52/M/Jellystone Park) 02/14/01 03:07 pm EST Msg: 133375 of 143268 ....our company president just nixed any further discussions with our Oracle salesman on the acquisition of their application software to manage our business. Not sure what we were intending to buy, but it is apparently dead. The Oracle salesman came in to try and save the business but he was firmly told that if Clinton was invited by Oracle to speak at a users' conference, that our company wants nothing to do with Oracle. He mentioned that Clinton has no ethics, and if that is the kind of person Oracle wanted to associate with, then they must not have much in the way of ethics either. messages.yahoo.com No way to validate this ,but didn't LE say in the cc that sales were delayed/fell off the last half of Feb?(for other reasons, of course)
