Hi Poet, is cyberian-husky really Jim Willie?

The style of writing is the same but I was looking at some of JW's posts and those of the husky and the former is ranting about what a disaster the Fed/Greenspan has been and how he was creamed by this market decline even as the latter goes on a buying binge. If the two are the same, I would say that Keith has probably got it right when he suggests that JW may have bigger problems. I first thought that it was the Voltman coming to the defense of his buddy under a different user name - it sounded more like him calling market bottoms and his buy, buy, buy mantra.

I always thought of JW as being a fairly bright guy and some of his market comments were quite incisive - I even told him that in a private message, when he and I were exchanging a couple. I really have not kept track of what he has been saying for a while - until this morning in connection with your post.

BTW, someone sent me a rather good analogy with regard to UF's emphasis on form over substance in connection with your situation pertaining to private messages and UF's reaction. The analogy had UF as the judge in a case where a woman shoots a rapist with an unlicensed gun in self-defense - and UF throws the book at the woman for having an unlicensed gun while he lets the rapist go free. Rather well put, I thought.
