Two hard disks, one or two controllers, and one or two cables... One thing I didn't mention, and feel I should've, was DMA, or Direct Memory Access, if your system supports it, should be enabled. No point in sending data through the processor if it doesn't need processing. I envision data running from one disk to the other without interruption: sort of like a pipe running between two tanks as opposed to a guy running back and forth with a pail. Cheers, PW. P.S.
