This must be the biggest endorsement of the Palm OS. We all know the Japanese market is extremely competitive with so many entrenched players.

PDAs like Palm are very suitable for the Japanese or Chinese markets because the languages of these are written character by charcter, and it's easy to squeeze a whole article onto the screen. Whereas the Western languages are more elongated and variable in length so there are too much wasted white spaces to the margin.
