OT: Well, maybe Clinton was telling the truth and Marc Rich's money had nothing to do with it. The National Enquirer is running a story (and Fox is picking it up) saying Denise Rich spent 100 nights out of the final year sleeping over at the White House. They also note that those were nights when The Hillary was not in town. So maybe it wasn't money for the pardon. As Dick Morris has noted, Hillary is the grasping, greedy one, not Bill. Bill's weaknesses are in, er, other areas.

Now, generally, one doesn't credit the National Enquirer but it was the NE which broke the Hugh Rodham story and is following the Clinton scandals with reporterial fervor we haven't seen since the days of Woodward and Bernstein. David Gergen last night on TV, when asked to give his overview of the scandal, simply said, "It's not over. There's more to come." At least that's what I think he said.
