I disagree - they aren't stupid, they just have different beliefs than the prior administration. The philosophy of this administration is that leaving the money in the possession of the government is malinvestment. Tax cuts stimulate the economy. Flats doesn't like it because it means that if there is no surplus, and there is a shortfall in the future, social programs will have to be cut. But if you don't believe in socialism, then what's the problem?
