By far, Quanam Medical Corporation is the best of the recent acquisitions IMHO. It is the only acquisition announcement to be followed by any buying that I have seen. The initial clinical results from JNJ's drug coated stent have been outstanding. If the results hold up over time, "Drug Coated Stents" will quickly rout all older stent models. BSX is in this game. JNJ is in the lead . . . . BSX just cemented their second place amoung the majors (and they have their internal taxol stent as well). A good balance sheet can help a lot on new product developments. The deleveraging of last year had some positive effects for this year. I also like the fact that they have not announced a deal to buy Medinol. Cheers,
