The last time that I was in strong disagreement with many on this thread was last spring, when I tried to convince the masses that Intel's income from investments would be neither predictable nor sustainable. Europe indeed is doing much better than the US right now. It is not a coincidence that Europe did not have the same imbalances caused by an overinvestment in technology. In fact, a year ago all that you read was how far behind Europe was falling behind us.
