Have noticed the same thing others have, but in many more stocks than mentioned here. the declines on bad news has been less and less over the past few weeks, but this week has been special. The reductions have nearly disappeared, and starting this week numerous stocks have actually gone up on bad news. Because of this I agree with you and others that a rally is starting. Given the large short interest and the funds/margin on the sidelines, this could be explosive.

Also willing to bet that the responses to the earnings warnings of the last few days has many shorters nervous about holding positions over the weekend.

It's almost a shame none of the domestic energy producers are going to warn ;o)
