As EMC's and NTAP's markets converge, EMC will remain the dominant storage company, IMO.

I would enjoy hearing your rationale on which you formed this opinion? I don't disagree, necessarily, but everyone here has heard the opinion of NTAPers about NTAP's software representing a discontinuous innovation, leaving EMC with the Innovator's Dilemma. Since most market leaders confronted with the Innovator's Dilemma have historically lost market share to the upstart competition, conventional thinking would dictate that EMC could follow a similar path as it tries to move upmarket in response.

I'm playing both, though much larger position in EMC.
Would love to hear your thoughts.
