Most of that sounds very reasonable, and I am certainly not for creating children for a world of suffering and poverty if it can be prevented without murdering the tiny child in the womb.
As far as which sex should bear the burden of contraception, I believe that should be left up to the couples involved with choices for both sexes available at a reasonable cost, or even for free in poverty stricken areas of the world. There is no question that would be far better for everyone involved than promoting and encouraging abortions.
