You're right. I mistyped what I meant to say. That was, I'd rather have LU shares become more valuable before the final distribution, than seeing LU go to low single digits after the distribution.
Another factor is that if LU can sell its fiber plant, then Agere will have less debt which will help its stock price. The difference in distribution is half a share of Agere, if I'm not mistaken. The difference in Agere's price could be huge if Agere has less debt.
