Frank,the Fed is not accountable to anyone.The systems of checks and balances that has made this country great has failed us when it comes to the Fed.The Fed has way too much power over the livelihoods of the investing public.Why did AG worry about the "wealth effect" but not now towards the "poor effect".He has to realize that the health of the financial markets is more important than the price of any commodity.His inflation "phobia" has cost us dearly.
