Oh my gosh, I can't believe that I found this thread! I just had a few moments of free time and decided to do a search on the word "dyslexia" and voila!

I have had this problem forever and have just learned to live with it. I think that all of us dyslexics have our own coping mechanisms.

For instance, it is automatic for me to triple check everything I write, especially numbers and ticker symbols. Thank heavens that I have a photographic memory though; I guess that strength counter-acts the dyslexia, but at times it is also a problem in that people can't believe that a person who can remember every minute detail can still do the things that us dyslexics can and will do. Oh well, c'est la vie!

Cheers,

Sue:)
