I not only never do short-term trades, but I rarely even get feelings about short-term directions. But day after day, Silicon Investor's Daily Summary comes to my mailbox, and the downgrades outnumber the upgrades by a wide margin. Today, there were only six upgrades and ten times that in downgrades (and not 14 analysts pillorying the same company). Most of the downgrades involved tech stocks.

When all the analysts are running for cover, I get a little interested. I just have a feeling there is going to be a big pop in Nasdaq soon, although I have no feel for its duration.
