john, i believe we've probably seen a giant peak in earnings growth for tech companies and a maturing of the tech business cycle - probably well beyond middle age -g-, precisely of course at the time that the crowd mantra was "the technology revolution has just begun" (-lol-) and the public was buying hand over fist at the top. as i have posted several times, jdsu had 1 billion funny bucks of front expiry calls, to a measly of $12 million puts, that kind of excess sentiment will take years to work off, damm good rallies in between where you can make a 10% swing intraday on the upside - or even have multi-week rallies, but you will have to be a quant trader to catch the turns - u will definately need some turnips or a beanie -g-, most traders that are still alive, were made genius by the last stage of the bull market, which provided a lot of forgiveness, most of them are getting boinked now. i remain, bearic von bobernoff
