"Palm is set to announce a new handheld, a more powerful version of its entry-level m100 model, destined to replace the IIIxe.

And we've just heard from Register readers that UK computer supplier Misco has the new machine in its latest catalogue. We haven't seen it ourselves, but the catalogue apparently claims the device will be out on 6 March. The details are on page 15, we're told.

Reports suggest that the new Palm, dubbed m105, will have 8MB of memory, as opposed to just 2MB. It is expected to have a cradle to synchronise with a PC rather than a cable connector..."
