No distortion there. Greenspan started the disaster, but Bush is now taking over the reigns as chief economy wrecker. How are the financial markets going to react to the news (later this year or next) that the Federal budget has gone back into the red?
It won't be a pretty sight. And people will realize that they should have been more appreciative of Clinton.

BTW: Clinton had the least growth in the debt of any President since Johnson. Reagan, Ford and Bush were by far the worst fiscal mismanagers.
