Hiya uf,

From the couple of pm's rec'd here, it may be that I am more sorely rearrived than left.

I'm mentioned this to you previously, but I consider G&K my "home" plate, which is to say the I miss the thread probably a whole lot more than it misses me.

Still, it's nice of you to offer flattery.

One thing I've been doing since about Feb 1 is recording trading lows for about 30 different stocks. It's a poor substitute for charts, which I haven't been able to get, so
MSNBC has been the source. The steady decline is very apparent...lower and lower lows are not a good sign. I may keep it up because it just might signal a bottom when we start getting higher lows. Not very scientific...all one sector, for example, no reference to volume. I'd really like to monitor the cash positions in the funds...a way to follow redemptions versus buys perhaps...but I don't know how to do that.

I doubt that I can time the market perfectly, and actually I don't expect to. Close would be good enough.

Still back reading, trying to catch up.

Chaz
