Dear Andreas: Did you contact MSI directly? Just because resellers option for the two slot model does not mean that the four slot is unavailable. Al it means is that they opt for the 2 slot board. Would you pay extra for the four slot board? Would you pay extra for the memory that can fill all four slots (I think that the types cannot be mixed thus, all slots must be registered if you want three or more slots filled)? Would you take the cut in performance? Even if you answered yes to all three of the above, what percentage of buyers would? Yeah, it is probably less than 1%. Do you think the resellers know that?
