AD,
You were right about the end day weakness on Friday in tech. 5 consecutive weeks down for nasdaq. What is you outlook for Monday? I did see some hopeful signs on Friday that indicate to me that Monday may start an up week. And Greenspan did say to Congress yesterday that he hoped his fedspeak had thouroughly confused forecasters on the timing of the next interest rate move. IMO a cut next week is not out of the question. Perhaps AG delayed it last week to teach Wayne Angell a lesson that it doesnt pay to trade on their relationship in making market predictions for Bear Stearns. In any case two half pointers or even a 1/2 then a 1/4 on 3/21 should get a rally going. Of course if we have to wait until 3/21 which is an eternity for a market like this, we may not be able to defy gravity as we go thru 2000. Mike
