I agree, next week will be critical. It may be wishful thinking, but what I noticed last week is that the market tried to move up, only to be repeatedly cut down by after-hours warnings. The good news is that except for software, the market recovered from the ORCL warning. Friday's late sell-off may have been people selling the rally or it could have been traders exiting for the weekend--probably a combination. The NASDAQ closed a couple of points above where it opened. I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of bounce early next week. Maybe even a two-day rally!
