However, at what point does the new stuff stop being so compelling as to be worth buying (Win ME isn't selling nearly as well as its previous siblings)? Again, just a little fat to chew. I'm still on your side. I, too, share a healthy "fear" of when this will end. Then I think about the fact that, when my wife and I are too tired after putting the kids to bed to go get a Blockbuster movie; that I am unable to video conference my extended family on the east coast; that less than .0001% of what I verbalize is consumed by electronic entities (the only thing I am aware of here is the "say "yes" if you wish to accept the collect call!). This is not to mention the huge potential for advancement in the medical field, where things like the analysis of genes is just beginning to start, and will require a huge amount of computing horsepower. The software and networking fields are in their mere infancies, even in the eyes of someone with such humble amount of learning as myself. Milan
