During previous recessions ( Market or Sector), the decline in stock prices have followed certain norms which are

a: Small caps have the largest percentage decline.

b: Large caps have the least percentage decline.

c: The percentage decline within each group was generally the same.

That pattern has not been followed in this sell off. It appears that only the old momentum Tech stocks be it big or small move as group. If this so, does it mean that the market ahead will again be divided and very narrow,?
