Softechie, is that all insiders sold? I see the largest insider sell was from Dr. Huber, the CEO. The man owns 92 million shares and sold about half a million, that is 0.5% of his holdings for $10 million.

Did you know that upon lock-up expiration, the CEOs of JNPR and RBAK sold an order of magnitude more than Huber, both in dollars and % ownership. And their stocks went up 500% after that.

Did you know that Bill Gates sold 10 million shares in Jan and Feb, 1.5% of his holdings? And his buddy Paul Allen sold for a couple billion dollars recently? Gates has been selling steadily for years, since MSFT was a tiny fraction of present value.

Another factor that is overlooked by most people is the total shares sold vs. average daily volume. 7 to 10 million shares of CORV change hands each day, so the total shares in the 144s amount to a few hours of liquidity. Big deal.

I have great respect for Dr. Huber for his technical excellence, vision, and management style. I do have one criticism of him. Why did he choose to keep more than 99% of his holdings in CORV. Hasn't he heard of asset diversification?

Even If I discovered a magic formula that I believe can turn sea water into milk or sand into gold, I'd still want to sell more than 0.5% of my company stock for diversification purposes. I still will realize huge windfall from the balance of my holdings in the future.

Regards,

Tom
