Did they think people were going to pay a big premium for mediocre Gateway quality?" Hard to beat those free computers at Best Buy with the 400 MSN rebates, I guess... Sadly, Gateway here in Palm Beach County has pulled their salespeople out of most the Officemax stores. Only one or two are still manned. The rest of the Officemaxs are left without Computers to sell. Rumor is that Staples will buy officemax. Gateway will like have to suck up that retail experiment. Jim
