Dear Sonki: Yes, I have listened to these GLOOM AND DOOM forecasts on ALL the financial channels all Saturday. I thought to myself, I wonder if these announcers really KNOW what DOOM IS?
Here we are BUDGET SURPLUS, very LOW unemployment (the WORST they are forecasting (gloom and doomers) is 5%--heck I REMEMBER when it was considered IMPOSSIBLE to get the unemployment rate below 6%, interest rates are DROPPING and will continue to drop at least the balance of this year, INFLATION is CERTAINLY in check, US POPULATION is going to get SOME KIND of TAX RELIEF, ENERGY PRICES appear to finally be SUBSIDING, USA GOVT finally has the money and the intitiative to IMPROVE EDUCATION, IMPROVE SOC. SEC. IMPROVE MEDICARE AND HEALTHCARE IN GENERAL. YET, all I hear is GLOOM AND DOOM. Something isnt squaring with the facts? JDN
