FYI~ has everyone seen the pre-opening pictures (I think from 2-19-01?) of the NEW Las Vegas store at the Desert Passage? Links were posted on RB

This first picture is of the front of the store from the Dessert Passage mall. To the right of the door is the entrance to the mall from the strip and the entrance to the Alladin Casino.

You can see in the photo the store is pretty much done, but there are a few ladders in the place. When I walked in they were in the midst of finishing up the place. So I snapped a few pictures and got out of their way.

This next shot is the smoking room. The room will eventually have a sitting area with a couch and some chairs. All around the room were displays of cigars. Very impressive collection of cigars.

You can't tell in the pictures but the woodwork and finish work is top notch. I have a friend in the construction business and have seen some of his best work. The detail and woodwork in this store is beautiful!

This next picture is just another view of one of the walls of the smoking room. This wall of cigars is opposite the front window, to the left of the doors in the first picture.

In this picture is a display of some of the finer cigars, humidors and accessories. You can see some of the contractors in the picture. Along with the 3-4 construction workers in the store, I met Alex Gimelstein, a VP with HVAR, Tom the store's manager, and a couple of the store's employees.

This final picture of one of the other walls in the main store with additional humidors, accessories, and on the right, the register area.
