My timing is so bad that my nightmare is jumping off techs to join the "defensive issues" just in time for a mass rotation back to techs

Uncle Frank, I heard a similar remark from another person who closely follows tech stocks. My reaction is, just as you do not see the tech-stock market as monolithic, but rather spend a lot of time filtering out most stocks in a nuanced approach, so can one also take a nuanced approach to the value market. When they say "defensive stocks" on CNBS I cringe. It is so cliche. It is untextured, vile, monolithic dreck. But there's a whole world in there, which can be opened up just as you experienced with tech stocks.
