I respectfully disagree with your opinion re: Jerry Stackhouse

>First of all, any player who goes 4 for 23 deserves ridicule...

ANY player will have an off night once in a while, Jerry had one that night...

FYI, Jerry is averaging almost 40 minutes per game, 40.2 FG%, 35% 3 pt. FG%, 82% FT%, 5.1 assists, and almost 30 points per game (No. 3 in the NBA).

>1. He questioned Jerome Williams' heart. LOL! Jerome plays as hard as anybody in the NBA.

I think another misquote from a ridiculous "journalist" in search of a story that wasn' t there.

>2. He said that Grant Hill shot too much. Grant's biggest fault has always been shooting too little. Several coaches in the league openly laughed at Stackhouse for this statement.

Grant rots in IR while Jerry shines....Grant did absolutely nothing for the Pistons franchise, WAY too overrated, way too soft, with absolutely no heart (he never made a shot with the game on the line for Detroit, NEVER), superstar my butt, IMHO.

>3. He taunted Lindsay Hunter recently, questioning why Hunter had started ahead of him years ago. Hunter clearly earned those minutes.

Taunted??? Hunter was and is an average NBA player...and yes, Jerry should have started in his place<g>

>4. Trying to start a fistfight with Laettner on the team plane, 10,000 feet in the air.

I think you are way off on this one...Why has Laettner been traded so many times? Because he is such an arrogantass...So glad to see him go, another mistake of the long list of mistakes on Pistons's management since the glorious Bad Boy days.

>You've said this before and it is ridiculous. Stackhouse is a gunner, Hill is a superstar.

Hill is no superstar, he never got Detroit out of the first round of the playoffs, NEVER! He never made a shot when it counted the most, when the game on the line. Stackhouse is a gunner because everyone else around him this year SUCKS!

I respect your opinion.

George
