O.T_________Johnnie Cochran plans Barbados hotel investment The Associated Press BRIDGETOWN, Barbados (March 4, 2001 11:09 a.m. EST nandotimes.com) - Famed defense lawyer Johnnie Cochran Jr. arrived Saturday in Bridgetown, where he plans to negotiate with the government about his proposed investment in the local hotel industry. Cochran arrived on the island with his investment partner, Robert Johnson, founder of the Black Entertainment Television channel. Cochran and Johnson told reporters they are negotiating to buy parts or all of the Gems of Barbados chain, five small, luxury hotels around the Caribbean island. The partners already have investments in Antigua, Curacao and Aruba....IT PAYS TO DEFEND MURDERERS
