SCUMbria - re: ". I suspect that they will start picking up business wins fairly soon. (Of course, I have been saying that every week for 2 years now.)"

Your "suspects" are based on your hopes - not reality.

During late 1999 through late 2000, AMD had their best shot to make business inroads while Intel struggled with execution issues.

For the past 6 months, Intel has regained its footing and is executing consistently (if not greatly) while AMD has canceled key CPUS and delayed other key ones - the PaloMeathead - by up to 6 months.

And the 760MP chip set is just a glimmer in Jerry's eye.

Reality suggests that AMD will not make any major business inroads in the near future.

Of course, the AMDroids will always argue that design wins at Pionex, LeapFrog Computers, and TigerDirect etc. are major Business wins for AMD.
