I believe that SI can read PM's if need be. If you read the TOS, SI, after deleting posts (Violations, etc..), still keep them in case they need them in the future.

What is so hard about SI keeping PM's as well?

Despite what I have been told, *SI can't read PM's* I still believe that PM's are not 100% secure. I don't think they actively read them, but I would be willing to bet they can.

Just my paranoid opinion.
