The boys at TradeStation are so close to getting it right, but they still need to put the following into their Pro version: 1. Direct Access (as you mention) 2. Symbol Lists for Charts (it seems basic but you still have to create a window for every symbol and apply the trading system for each symbol) 3. Real-Time Scanning (they are working on incorporating their RadarScreen technology into the platform) 4. End-of-Day Scanning (no capability - you have to run the Workspace Assistant in the older 2000i version) First Alert is still sloppy - their net change values get out of whack, and if you go down intraday, you're hosed - there's no intraday data on demand - you'll have to download it. FA is still a lot of manual labor such as patching data and no automatic splits. Advanced GET is working on a real-time scanning capability for their Type 1 and Type 2 trades - that could be a great product. Anyone know of any fancy-schmancy software here or in the works?
