Hi Pravin, I did a Google search for "Broker Call Rate" and apparently it is published daily in Section C of the Wall Street Journal as the "call money rate". I have an online subscription to the WSJ and am having trouble finding the number. Will let you know if I find it.

What is its significance?

Bob

Edit: I found something called Call Money:

CALL MONEY: 7.25% (effective 02/01/01). The charge on loans to brokers on stock exchange collateral. Source: Reuters.

It seems dated. How should I interpret the number?

Edit2: Found an explanation:
