There appears to be some investor confidence, at least as manifested through intent to purchase new homes in SF. This is according to friends of mine who have "had their finger on the pulse" of the real estate market there for several months as they look for the ideal home. However, the confidence home buyers in SF are showing obviously correlates poorly with either the Nasdaq or the sentiment surveys.
