I'm a little skeptical about buying LU's fiber division as my sense is that there's plenty of fiber in the ground. The real growth areas are the bottleneck where electronic data coming out of corporate and local networks is trying to get onto the fiber backbone. I'd appreciate your comments.


I'm not sure JDS needs its own fiber but if they do I'm not sure they need LU's. For the more advanced networks, 10gig and above, GLW's is superior.

I'm certainly against their making another acquisition right now.
