Thank you so much for the energetic confirmation of my point - namely that ownership of overseas assets does not necessarily benefit the owners, as the multiplier effect and much of the revenue actually belong to the investee country. Chugs, again, Jay

I SAID:
The problem is that the resulting employment, and multiplier effect belong to somebodyelse, along with most of the revenue, with profit questionable. Like starring in a movie on "profit share basis" - not good economics.
