IS INSP A PARTNER IN DIGEO? (Part Four)

Following the "merger" between INSP and GNET, which was announced to the world on July 26, 2000, and made "official" (about 2 1/2 months later) after "approval" by two simultaneous "special" shareholder's meetings on the same day (in different cities, just across Lake Washington from each other), on October 12, 2000. The small individual shareholder's REALLY never had much of a say in the "merger" deal...as the management, executives, major shareholders, and BOD's of both companies pretty much controlled the whole deal from the beginning.

So...what have the shareholders of INSP heard about the "world-changing" partnership that it's "merger" partner GNET had with "DIGEO Broadband," since the infamous "merger" was announced last summer on 7/26/00...Absolutely ZERO, ZILCH... NOTHING AT ALL for over SEVEN MONTHS NOW!!!

Anyway fellow shareholders, that's all I've been able to dig up to date. Perhaps it will help some of the newer INSP investors to understand a little bit of the high degree of frustration those of us who invested in GNET (and held through the "merger" with INSP) feel regarding this issue. I, for one, remain EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED by the ABSOLUTE SILENCE and complete secrecy from INSP regarding what has happened to GNET's once incredible relationship with Paul Allen's Vulcan Ventures and Charter Communications, regarding the DIGEO Broadband's "interactive TV" partnership...following the "merger" announcement between INSP and GNET on 7/26/2000 (not to mention the recent little "management shake-ups" first announced on 1/22/2001, as well as the 250 INSP "layoffs" announced on 2/6/2001). As a shareholder, I feel INSP owes us some explanation to clear this whole thing up!

MEMO: To InfoSpace management:

PLEASE tell us shareholders something...ANYTHING, regarding what the heck has happened to the DIGEO joint venture partnership deal with GNET (now completely "owned" by InfoSpace). Answering just FIVE SIMPLE QUESTIONS would be a good start to help reassure us:
1. Is INSP still a partner in DIGEO Broadband?
2. If "yes," does INSP still have a 19.9% interest?
3. Also, if "yes," will INSP be providing the "portal" services?
4. Also, if "yes," when will DIGEO launch its full services?
5. Also, if "yes," what will be the revenue streams for INSP?

Thank you in advance for your
prompt attention to this matter!

Sincerely,
JustOneShareholder...(of many)

Anyone who has any additions, deletions, and/or corrections, please feel free to post them for the benefit of all of us.

That's my (unfinished) story...
And this time, I'm not sure that I'm sticking to it. <g>

Roger

PS. Geesh, in the "good-old (pre-merger) days" of GNET, we could have just had levy post the questions to Mark Peterson, and he (or someone else at GNET) would often post back the answers directly on this thread (within a day or so). Nowadays, the relationship between the "new" company's management and us "poor" lowly shareholders seems to be so incredibly secretive, and generally unresponsive. Heck...was it something we said? :)
