Jay, 100% agree with you about "preserving wealth ". That's why there're many means to use. One simply has to find the best one that works for his or her needs. I see many patients come in the office hoping for antibiotics for every illness. Responsible doctors would only give out right medicine for the kind of situations. Some cases one has to go through the full course with/or without some pain killer or just holding hands for emotional comfort during tough time. Yes, some cultures have their own wise medicinemen which others might not take seriously. Yes, some are boodoo medicine. Fortunately most patients are much more well informed and easier to handle these days if they are. Most cases it's wise for the rest of passengers to be extra careful, not ignoring the situation. Ordering the rest of the whole passengers to jump off the ship because of one/or a few patient/s has been sick so long can be as irresponsible as giving out antibiotics for virus illness. Can't order the storm to stop, journey must go on with or without that patient. Cautious but enjoy the journey to your final destination. Who said storm is not fun to ride or lightening is not beautiful. Otherwise, stay home and watch travel channel which some might enjoy. Smart travelers won't miss great bargain sale when you know where/how to find it and take full advantage of that. Not all sales might work for your time frame, you know your schedule best than anybody else. Btw, I enjoy many interesting contributors here for yrs. I love this internet era. Fyi, economy in US is not that bad as you might think. AG and his 11 gangs are on tip toes now. ORCL is not gonna belly up any time soon. How is it in HK? What's with the governor? TIA! Bon Voyage! InSook Prasad ps: Some travel agents in HongKong are amazing for finding the best deal. The best deals ever! My order kid reads all Amy Tang's books and she thinks that's how Chinese are. So I need to show her real HK and China next summer, not just ChinaTown in Manhattan and SF. Once she was fascinated to see so many Indians in India even though she's an half Indian.
