As an engineer I only deal with companies that I know and thus I know they are real and mob and the bogey man are not involved with them. So if one want to deal in stocks that are in the figurative land of an inner city crack houses then I guess one needs to use cautions. But I don't understand an addiction to dealing with companies that fit the profile you describe. SO I guess you are correct in saying I don;t know anything about security concerns of walking alone late at night down the street in a high crime area. I guess if someone checks into a hotel with a hooker one would not use one's real name. At least that's what I have heard on the street.

Since I never intend to go there I see little value in expending energy in figuring out how to fool my self into thinking I'm safe.

But I do see why someone involved in con and sham stocks would see value in the perception that his handle could be use to convey authority on the street of ignorant investors. So to me one thing is clear that many walk the street and think a handle makes them anonymous, fools, retards, dummies. Yes life is hard on the street. One can conduct oneself with honor publicly proud of their name or not.
