DJ SEC/Ives Suspension-2: Comes Out Of Internet Surveillance

WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--The Securities and Exchange Commission announced Monday the temporary suspension of trading in Ives Health Co. (IVEH) because of questions regarding the accuracy of the company's public statements.
"Questions have been raised about the adequacy and accuracy of publicly disseminated information concerning, among other things, a product being marketed by Ives Health for treatment of human immunodeficiency virus," the SEC said in a prepared statement.
The trading suspension is scheduled to last through March 16.
In addition, the agency warned brokers that no quotation may be entered for the company until certain provisions of securities rules have been met.
According to the commission, "public interest and the protection of investors" require an immediate suspension of trading in the securities of Ives Health.
A spokesperson for the SEC said the trading suspension was a result of the agency's Internet surveillance, but wouldn't provide more detail.
