You have to distinguish between trade credit and capital credit, between loans for funds for projects and issuance of paper with yield for working capital. The latter has little impact on monetary conditions because there is no instantaneous money creation from it. It's a wash. Not so the former. The former is powered by the availability of federal reserve credit and latter has little to do with it except that it is impacted by the long term liability of the face rate of issuance.
