Dataram Offers Memory for New Sun Netra T1 and X1 Servers
PRINCETON, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 5, 2001--Dataram Corporation (Nasdaq:DRAM - news), a leading provider of gigabyte-class memory for high-performance network servers, today announced the immediate availability of memory for Sun Microsystems' Netra T1 AC200 and Netra X1 servers.
The Netra T1 AC200 (also known as ``Flapjack'') is a rack-optimized server in a 1U (1.75-inch) form factor. The system has a 500MHz UltraSPARC IIe processor and supports up to 2GB of Dataram memory. Upgrades are available in 256MB and 512MB capacities.
Sun's Netra X1 is a low-cost, general purpose 1U server with a 400MHz UltraSPARC IIe processor. The system will support up to 1GB of Dataram memory in capacities of 128MB and 256MB.
Both Netra servers allow customers to fit the most power in the smallest amount of space. ``Thinking 'thin-to-win' is the strategy in today's IP and SP environment,'' stated Robert Kanoff, Dataram's director of marketing. ``Dataram memory has been engineered specifically for this 'rack and stack' environment,'' Kanoff added.
