That may be, but the analyst making that call has been bearish from the top last spring, and is just now saying to layer in over the next 3 months and expects the equip low was in December.

He also nailed the bottoms and tops in the last 2 semi-equip cycles. I know, I know, but I can honestly say he is the only analyst I have ever seen with a great track record.

I have years of his notes to support him. He was predicting a crash in orders in q1 2001 back in June.
