Good Article on What's Supporting NG Prices this shoulder season. The seasonal shoulder is a function of not only the shoulder but the summer and the current and projected gas storage. This article does a good job pointing out why this shoulder is possibly different than others in history. Lots of plants testing 1-3 bcfd in March, April, May, to get ready for June, July, August, 3-4 bcfd demand coming. Not only weather but projected demand and status of projected storage are being considered as well as new supply. I think the power equation with all the new plants that have always been projected but now really are coming on line this summer is a big difference from past history.

I personally have a hard time believing we'll have two Indian Summers in a row in the Midwest, so
if we have less gas in storage at the end of this winter, we have 20-40,000 MW's of new plants coming on
line in the spring and summer, just say its 20,000. Then maybe you get the picture....
