Joe, I don't think Democrats could have nominated better Democrat than Nixon. No Democrat could do as much to advance the Democrat agenda as Nixon did. The Democrats did nominate a better candidate. His name was Robert Kennedy, and he was asassinated after he won the California primary in 1968. You are looking at short term data. The inflation in the late 70's was due largely to Nixon's policies in the early 70's. And please stop accusing me of spreading misinformation.
