KRSL (7/99) and KROG were two that didn't work out. As I very well know. (sigh)

I was wrong twice in my outlook when I posted 12/16/99, "...KROG looks okay to me, too. (NVX does not--but I am still holding.)"

NVX actually worked out okay, especially for people who kept the BAX shares they received. I erred badly on KROG.

Also, fwiw, I found LR, mentioned here by LauA, an interesting story. People (such as James Clarke and Allen Furlan) mentioned on the Value Thread they were buying it under 1. I couldn't see it. But at 2 1/2, it was a buy, imo. That's when the buyout for $3 cash occurred. So it turned out to be a nice winner for several people on SI, I'd guess.
