Registered file types ... I think you need both. One works on .JPG files while the other works on .JFIF files. In your post, you have JPE instead of JPG. I don't know if this is a typo. Anyway, on my system, it opens with EXPLORER, not PHOTOED. This would explain why my only option is open. I do not have a package installed for manipulating these files. The bold open is the default action. Perhaps others can offer some suggestions. Cheers, PW.
